You could call it "home sweet home...away from home" for senior citizens. After years of hoping and dreaming, and then planning and scheming, Alachua County's Senior Center is finally ready. Gainesville resident Sadie McBroom said, "It's everything I hoped it would be!" After a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, residents got a sneak peak at the new center. Even those involved in planning were impressed by the outcome.
