A Gainesville woman returned to her apartment last night to a not so pleasant surprise. She opened the door to find a man drunk and passed out on her floor... and she had no idea who he was.
Once she woke 20 year old Ryan Wells up the woman told him he was not welcome in her home and told him to leave. Gainesville Police say Wells became violent, pushing the woman to the floor and jumping on her and then punching and kicking her.
Wells is charged with assault and battery during a burglary.
