"International Friendship" Thanksgiving Dinner

"International Friendship" Thanksgiving Dinner

Published November 20th, 2011

Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays of the year for Americans, and this year a local non profit is helping those from other countries understand why.
International Friendship hosted students and academics from all over the world at Creekside Community Church tonight for a Thanksgiving dinner.
Church members cooked an American style Thanksgiving meal and offered it, along with plenty of explanations, to the newcomers.
More than 30 countries were represented at the dinner. The non-profit's director says every year the response is one of gratitude.
This is the 29th Thanksgiving dinner hosted by International Friendship.
