Putnam County Fire
Published November 21st, 2011
The 700 acre fire according to state officials is about 70 percent contained. They don't know what caused the fire but the fire did shut down roads and schools. One Hawthorne resident says he had to close up his house because the smoke was that thick. Putnam County Deputies expect road closures for tomorrow morning.
