Stores across the nation and in Gainesville are planning to open up earlier after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Some stores like Target are planning to open at 12 midnight. Walmart along Archer Road are staying open 24 hours but Toys R' Us are upstaging them all and are opening up at 9 Thanksgiving evening. Residents I spoke to say time should be spent with family.
