"Layaway Angels" Flying Through Gainesville
Published December 21st, 2011
It really is the saddest part of the store, layaway- where presents are held until they can be paid off in full; but it turns out a growing number of those debts are being paid by total strangers.
You may never see them, but they do exist, "layaway angels," people going to retailers, and asking to pay off the layaways of complete strangers.
Eight "layaway angels" flew through the Gainesville K-mart on Wednesday, and more than 25 in the past week according to Manager Jason West.
