Many local theatres have holiday shows to get you in the spirit. The Hipp in downtown Gainesville is featuring its show "This Wonderful Life". In Marion County another holiday favorite, The Nutcracker, takes to the stage at the Ocala Civic Theatre. You can catch the end of the 31st season of the holiday classic tonight and Saturday night at 8 with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2.

Newberry is holding it's Festival of Lights and Christmas parade on Saturday. There'll be all sorts of activities there ranging from arts and crafts, wagon rides and other fun for the kids.
