The Library celebrated Black History Month with a mixture of traditional African music storytelling and African American culture. 

A group from Gainesville called Africa 2000 took the stage.

The Library said they like to keep their acts local and want to remind everyone they can find events right in their backyard.

They will continue to host events throughout february for Black History Month.
