Emergency Drill

It looked like the real thing, but it wasn't. More than 100 officers converged on the Meadowbrook Church in Ocala Friday morning. The scenario: Terrorists taking hostages with machine guns in hand. It took months to put together the drill to help keep law enforcement's skills sharp. More than 460 volunteers, from 14 different local churches took part. Some acted as hostages. The Marion County Sheriff Department, Ocala Police, Marion County Fire Rescue were some of the many agencies involved. The drill even included a hovering helicopter.
