Lake City Officer Shooting

Police say 49 year old Rooselvet Daies started a shootout with police, and around 2:30A.M. Sunday morning 911 calls came in about gun shots near Alma Avenue. Police started to chase Daies and that is when he started shooting and luckily neither he nor police were struck by bullets. He was later caught after trying to hide in the woods and is now behind bars at the Columbia County Jail.
