Ocala's New Fire Chief Meets City Council
Published February 8th, 2012
In addition to a new police chief and mayor, Ocala now has a new fire chief as well.
Bradd Clark was introduced yesterday to City Council members.
Clark served as Fire Chief for three different cities in Oklahoma starting in 1997 before coming to Ocala.
He was also an adjunct professor at Oklahoma State University in the School of Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology.
Chief Clark started on February 1st.
Bradd Clark said, "They're excited about what the future holds... they'd like to know what we can do, and essentially, as soon as we're all pushing in the same direction I think its just break-neck speed for us..I think you'll see great things from us."
Clark replaces John Deiorio who stopped down for family reasons last summer.
