Paynes Prairie Bison Removal

After several phone calls to our newsroom, we have confirmed with the company removing the bison that six of the animals have been corraled so far. The company told TV20 that the Department for Environmental Protection is the agency that gave them the go ahead to start removing the animals. Much controversy has surrounded the issue with protestors rallying to keep the bison in the Prairie, but Department of Environmental Protection officials stating their number needed to be thinned out because of over population.
