Kids sometimes complain their fathers are so embarrassing.

And Friday, some dads had the chance to prove them right.

More than 100 kids got to witness their fathers demonstrate their skills in tug-of-war, three-legged races, and even bean bag races.

Dads -- and several moms -- skipped worked to enjoy the annual Father's Field Day at Millhopper Montessori School.

Families flexed their muscles with water balloon tosses, hula-hoop races, and water-carrying contests.

While the games sometimes got heated, families say this was a chance for dads to bond with their kids.

This was the 16th annual Father's Field Day for Millhopper Montessori School.

School officials say the event is a way to thank dads for all their support.
