He was that go-to guy, a pleasant handy man according to his next door neighbors.

Doug Tripp, 55, was murdered; his body found inside his home Friday afternoon by a friend who needed some help with her car.
"He was real nice, he'd help anybody he could," said John Marhefka, who had been living beside Tripp for 30 years.
Tripp, a floor installer, was found dead inside his home in south east Ocala.
"Of course we don't want anybody to panic, officers are doing everything they can to find out what exactly happened here," said Sgt. Chas Maier.
Police wouldn't comment on the condition of Tripp's body or how he may have been killed.
Jeff White says his wife discovered Tripp's body around noon, when she walked over to get some help with her car.
"She went to the door, and the bars on the door were locked, but the other door was open...she saw him lying on the ground, just lying on the ground," he said.
Another neighbor, Eric Luscier, says last night, he heard what sounded like gun shots around 10:30.
"That's what it sounded like, 4-5 shots, woke me straight up out of my sleep, I just looked out of the window for a while to see if I could see anything, didn't see anything," he said.
Tripp's house had been burglarized two months ago.
"Somebody had broken into his house from the back,  and they took some stuff from him," said Marhefka.
Whether or not it's related to the murder, Marhefka is in disbelief.
"If this was one incident where somebody might of had it in for him, for some reason, I don't know... he was such a nice guy, he was never a trouble maker," he said.
