A man is recovering this morning after another man literally stabbed him in the back yesterday.
Gainesville police say it happened in the Pineridge apartment complex around 11 P.M.
They say 29-year-old Dustin Waters and Abner Mendoza got into an argument over some stolen items.
Police say Mendoza plunged the knife into Waters' back.
When police arrived, the knife was still in Waters' back.
They later found Mendoza sitting against another building not far where the incident occurred.
