Police are searching for a man who robbed an Ocala gas station at gunpoint.
Authorities say the robbery happened around 5 a.m. Monday at the Circle-K off East Silver Springs Boulevard.  
The thief demanded the clerk hand over money while pointing a gun at him.
A truck driver getting gas noticed the robbery and flagged down an officer, but the thief got away.
He is believed to be an Hispanic or Indian male with several tattoos on his left arm.
