Kids are out of school for the summer, but the Dean of Students at a local high school may be out of a job.

Dean of Students at Loften High School Herbert Pindar has been working there since 2007 and was arrested on June 8th after being accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with a student. 

At least two victims have come forward to claim Pindar abused them.

The warrant for his arrest states that inappropriate contact between Pindar and one of his students occured between February and March of 2011. 

It started when the vicitim texted Pindar for homework help, something he encouraged all his students to do.

She says soon after, the two had sex and he sent her a picture of his privates.

Pindar was placed on administrative leave in March after complaints were brought to the attention of the School Board.

Sgt. at the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, Todd Kelly says, "It's not going to be tolerated by the Sheriff's Office, and it's not gonna be tolerated by the community. They expect that when their children are in school that they are there to learn and that they are in a safe environment."

Pindar maintains that he didn't have sex with the victim but admitted to having an inappropriate conversation with her and to sending a graphic picture of himself to her and another student.

Pindar says he regrets the conversation and that he, "got caught up in the moment."

School Representatives say the District is waiting for the end of its investigation before deciding on any disciplinary action that may be taken against Pindar, who's currently in jail on a $80,000 bond
