Members of a U.S. Marshals Task Force traveled to the U.S. Virgin Islands to capture the man wanted for robbing a bank and raping a woman in Gainesville early this year.
34 year old Kenneth Christian of Ocala was trailed all the way to Saint Croix, where the home he was hiding in was surrounded this evening.
He was arrested and is in jail awaiting extradition to North Central Florida.
Christian was wanted for the March robbery of the PNC Bank on Northwest 13th street.
It turns out he was also wanted for raping an 18 year old woman in Northeast Gainesville in the middle of April
