The city of newberry strikes us with a new hit...

 A tournament baseball park had its grand opening Saturday in Newberry.

The "Nations Park" features 16 cutting edge stadiums with natural grass outfields for all of its tournaments.

John Barbieri, Director of Baseball Operations at nations park says this new facility will bring more revenue to the neighborhood.

"Business is the number one, I mean there's a lot, alot of families here from all over and local businesses have been out here promoting themselves. A lot of business for local restaurants, eateries, hotels obviously and attractions as well."

Teams from around the united states are coming to compete for week long tournaments.
