GAINESVILLE -

     He's been missing since July, so we asked the Gainesville Police Department about what they are doing in the search for Omar Gibson.

     Police told TV20 there are no new leads in the search for Omar, but they will continue to follow any new leads that they may receive.

     Police told us Omar Gibson seems to have vanished and they have no fresh information as to his location.

     The difference between the search for Omar and the UF student who is missing, Christian Aguilar, is that in Aguilar's case, police have a clear suspect and places where he was last seen.

     Police will continue to update us if they find out any new information about Omar Gibson, and we will share this.
