Happy Friday everyone! Another jam packed weekend...whether you like getting outside, or taking in a show indoors.

If you could use a few laughs to start your weekend, we have some good news. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is in Gainesville. The Brooklyn native, known for his popular television sitcom, will be performing his stand-up routine at the Phillips Center. If you like chili, Ocala is the place to be Saturday. Teams will bring their recipes and face off at Marion County's 31st Annual Chili Cook-Off. You'll get a chance to sample...and vote for...the chili of your choice. There'll be other food as well. Add in live music, bounce houses and other activities for the kids and you've got a good family outing. The Chili Cook-Off goes from 9 to 5 Saturday at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion in Ocala.  Website

Also in Ocala, Silver Springs is hosting the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. The fundraiser is designed to honor breast cancer survivors....while raising funds and awareness of the disease. There will be a 5K walk, with participants encouraged to wear their pink bras in support of the fight against breast cancer. The walk begins at 8:30 Saturday morning at Silver Springs.  Website

The Marion County community of Citra will be hosting Orange-A-Fair on Saturday. Citra is known as the home of the Pineapple Orange and you'll notice a citrus theme to the event. There'll be a citrus cook off, live music, food, and lots of family fun. Orange-A-Fair runs from 9 to 3 Saturday at the Citra Community Center on County Road 318, just east of U.S. 301.  Website

Crystal River is the site for the annual Stone Crab Jam Saturday. The street festival is a great place to get some seafood and hear local bands performing on three stages. Stone crabs, burgers, and kettle corn are just a few items on the menu. The event kicks off at 4 pm Saturday on the south side of Citrus Avenue up to the waterfront in Crystal River.  Website
