It was like a bad sequel to "police academy," but nobody in law enforcement is laughing.  

     Two men were arrested in North Central Florida over the weekend... Who are both in a police academy.

     On Saturday in southwest Gainesville a woman claimed her ex boyfriend, John Martinez , broke into her apartment.  

     Martinez is a Police Academy Recruit in Orlando.

     Later that day in Northwest Gainesville two GPD officers were conducting a criminal mischief investigation and contacted Mark A. Leek, Jr.

     Leek attempted to evade officers and his roommate tried to pull him away from officers.

     His roommate Robert K. Goodman is currently a Police Academy Recruit in Ocala.

     They both ignored officer's commands and were both arrested.
