GAINESVILLE - Police are still investigating a death at the Biven's Cove Apartment Complex located on Southwest 13th Street in Gainesville. 

According to reports, a resident was found dead in their apartment earlier Sunday after being discovered by friends who came to visit.

Neighbors are on edge, and some say they believe the death was in no way due to natural causes.

However, officials won't release any new information yet as to whether the death was suspicious.

"We are following standard investigative procedures," Lieutenant Dan Stout with the Gainesville Police Department said.

Police say no other information about the resident can be released while family members are still being notified.
