Weekend Planner
Happy Friday everyone! The thermometer may say it's warm....but we've got plenty of cool things to do this weekend.
How about some cool collectibles? The Florida Museum of Natural History is holding it annual Collectors Day Saturday. This is the 34th year for the free event. Collectors from around the Southeast will be showing off their collections of cool stuff...from Titanic memorabilia to classic cars to Beatles treasures. The event goes from 10 am to 3 pm Saturday at the museum on Hull Road just off SW 34th Street in Gainesville. Website
Back to classic cars for a second. If you like Fords.... and Mustangs in particular... then Silver Springs is the place to be this weekend. Natures Theme Park as it's referred to is hosting the 19th annual Ford and Mustang Roundup. You'll get a chance to not only enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the park, but check out some sharp looking cars, too. The Roundup runs from 10 to 5 Saturday and Sunday at Silver Springs.
