Family Escapes Car Fire

MARION COUNTY - Ocala firefighters responded to reports of a car fire around 5 PM on North Pine Avenue and 10th Street.
Firefighters say a thick cloud of dark smoke and flames were coming from the engine compartment of a sedan.
The driver of the car says she had no idea it was smoking until other drivers alerted her.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire contained and no one was injured.
