Early Voting Starts Monday March 11th

GAINESVILLE - Over two thousand absentee ballots have been cast in the City of Gainesville elections. Supervisor of Elections Pam Carpenter said there are some things you need to be aware of before you vote early or on March 19th.
Carpenter said because of the district changes in the city you need to be aware if your house is in the same district or if it moved.
"Especially with the city single member district you may have moved across the street and it may have put you in the city commission district 4 and that would allow you to vote on another commissioner or vice versa," Carpenter said.
Carpenter said you can check with the supervisor of elections office to verify which district your house is in.
