Four Men Arrested for Scheming to Defraud

Alachua Sheriff's Office deputies arrested four men for Scheming to Defraud. The group allegedly stole a check book from the a business in Palatka and then recruited Kenneth Kohanski in Daytona Beach to try and cash a check at a Capital City Bank in Gainesville. There wasn't enough money in the account so they kept writing checks for smaller and smaller amounts at other branches. The bank finally caught on, and they were arrested.
