Florida as "a No. 2 seed" in the

NCAA Tournament… But now---"a DIFFERENT

KIND OF CHALLENGE”

for Billy Donovan’s guys---getting aroused

to play the “Gauchos

of the University of California at Santa Barbara”...

I expect Florida to “smack” the Gauchos---but

few things are "automatic" for these Gators...

This is a “good”--“not great” team---

nothing close to the LEVEL of Billy's

’06s and ’07s---winners of back-to-back national championships…

This year, it'll be “a smash hit”

if Florida wins TWO NCAA games---

advancing to the “Sweet 16”…

If the Gators “handle” UC-Santa Barbara

---Thursday night in Tampa---

the next challenge will be against

the winner of UCLA-Michigan State…

For Florida, “winning ONE” in this

Big Dance is a MUST---winning TWO is MAGIC...

it'll get them to

“the second weekend”---

and a LOAD of national attention…

Remember---52 of the 68 tournament teams are

ELIMINATED in "week one"...

AND--Good for Florida State… the Seminoles play

Texas A&M---if FSU wins, next up would likely be

Notre Dame… Earning a shot at the Irish would

be “saucy stuff” for the ‘Noles…

I ADORE this tournament… will we have a Butler

this year?---I HOPE so…

Everybody loves “an underdog”…
