NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - Jury selection continues this week in the trial of a former Rutgers University student accused of using a webcam to spy on his roommate's intimate encounter with another man.

Nineteen-year-old Dharun Ravi (DAHR'-uhn RAH'-vee) is charged with crimes including invasion of privacy and bias intimidation, which is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

The case sparked a national conversation about the impact of bullying on young gays after Ravi's roommate, Tyler Clementi, committed suicide in 2010.

Lawyers on Tuesday will dismiss many of the 220 prospective jurors who came to court last week to fill out questionnaires. The dismissals will be based on the answers they gave.

The remainder will be asked to come to court starting Wednesday for deeper questioning.
