Whitney Houston is confirmed dead at age 48.
Her body was found inside the Beverly Hilton in California.  The cause of her death is under investigation but authorities said there were no signs of foul play. News of houston's death came on the eve of music's biggest night - the grammy awards. According to her official website, Houston had sold more than 170 million albums, singles and videos over her career.
