Movies Hitting Theatres This Friday March 30th
A new twist on the Snow White story, an epic battle, and an in depth look at the problem of bullying all come to the theaters this week.
Julia Roberts breathes new life into the legend of Snow White. In the comedy "Mirror Mirror," the Evil Queen will stop at nothing to maintain her rule. With the help of her seven courageous exiled friends, Snow White fights for what is rightfully hers. The movie also stars Nathan Lane, Lily Collins and Armie Hammer, "Mirror Mirror" is rated PG.
The battle between the gods and titans goes on in the action film "Wrath of the Titans." In this sequel to "Clash of the Titans," Perseus, on a mission to rescue Zeus, descends to the underworld. "Wrath of the Titans" is rated PG 13.
Another movie releasing this week is anything but fictional. "Bully" documents the painfully real problem of kids tormenting other kids. Filmmakers set out to illustrate the too often tragic consequences of bullying. They chronicle a movement to stop the cycle of pain. "Bully" releases without a rating. A plea to get the MPAA to reduce rating for "Bully" from R to PG-13 failed by one vote. The Weinstein Company decided to release the film without a rating.
