Investigators are trying to figure out who sent an envelope full of white powder to a school on Monday.

Officials thought it was an isolated incident, but then discovered that some schools in Texas, an art gallery in New York and a bank in Alabama were also targeted.

So far, the initial testing says the substance is harmless, but that doesn't mean the investigation is over.

Officials said the letter was not addressed to anyone in particular.
