Man Steals Crane Leading Slow Speed Chase

Published April 6th, 2012

California

A man in California has been arrested after stealing a massive crane and leading officers on a slow-speed chase while lifting the boom.

The man drove, taking out power lines, power poles and a traffic signal before surrendering to the California Highway Patrol.

Because the crane took out 10 power poles, it knocked out power to about 284 homes.
