Search Continues For Missing Girl
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The family of a missing 6-year-old Arizona girl says they will "never give up" trying to find their daughter.
The family of Isabel Celis released a statement Monday with their first comments since she disappeared from her Tucson home two days ago.
They say they appreciate everyone's interest in finding Isabel and thank all the volunteers who have been searching for her.
The family says they are fully cooperating with authorities and are focused solely on her safe return.
FBI dogs went through the Celises' home Monday and turned up information that required a follow-up, but authorities wouldn't elaborate.
Lt. Fabian Pacheco, a Tucson police spokesman, says officials will continue devoting resources to the search for Isabel through the night.
