Shuttle Enterprise Heads to New York City
Published April 27th, 2012
Space shuttle Enterprise is heading to New York City finally, after being delayed all week.
It is arriving in the air, on the back of a 747.
Enterprise was supposed to fly over the city's big landmarks and arrive on Monday and then on Wednesday, however weather delayed both departure times.
The retired shuttle will be put in the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in New York.
Last week, the shuttle Discovery made a similar final flight to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington.
