Britney Spears' fianc now has control over her finances. A judge officially gave Jason Trawick legal power to govern her affairs. Spears' father Jamie had been her official conservator until he filed a legal request asking Jason be a co-conservator.
Bobby Brown will not be doing any jail time after pleading no contest to a D-U-I charge. The singer was arrested for drunk driving last month. Brown was sentenced to three years' probation and a day in LA County jail but received credit for time served.
Friends and fans of the Band said goodbye to Levon Helm. The music legend passed away from cancer last week. A public memorial was held at Helm's barn in Woodstock, New York. The site of his famous Midnight Ramble concerts in 2007.
Finally, Nancy Grace's story is headed to the small screen. Her semi autobiographical novel, The Eleventh Victim, will be turned into a Lifetime movie. Starring Jennie Garth.
