Models and stars went all out Monday night for the fashion world's equivalent of the Oscars, when the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art hosted the annual Art Costume Institute gala. Paparazzi and curious onlookers crowded the museum entrance to catch a glimpse of the famous strutting their stuff on the red carpet.
Supermodel Linda Evangelista and billionaire French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault have decided to end their very public and messy child support fight. Details about their agreement will be presented to a New York family judge on Tuesday. In court filings, Evangelista said she spent 46 thousand dollars a month on armed body guards, a 24-hour nanny and other expenses for her 5 year old son.
The incredible box office record for "The Avengers" gets even bigger. The Marvel Comics superhero mash-up took in over 207-million dollars in its opening weekend, more than previously projected. Worldwide, fans have already paid over 650 million to see the superstar-cast movie.
