White House Releases Beer Recipe
Published September 3rd, 2012
Home brewers can now enjoy one of President Obama's favorite adult beverages.
The Obama administration has released its recipe for homemade beer.
Sam Kass, the White House's head chef, posted the recipe for the two beers, which are White House Honey Ale and Honey Porter.
Both are made using honey from the White House beehive.
Pressure from the online home brewing community, including a petition and a Freedom of Information Act request, led to the recipe's release.
