Search For New Jersey Girl Comes To End
CLAYTON COUNTY, New Jersey- A community in New Jersey is in mourning today after the search for a missing 12-year old girl came to a tragic end.
Police say the body of Autumn Pasquale was found last night in a recycling container in a suburb of Philadelphia.
Authorities haven't yet labeled her death a homicide but the prosecutor says whoever is responsible for Autumn's death will be held accountable.
Autumn was last seen on Saturday riding away from her dad's home on her bike.
She's been the subject of a large search organized by hundreds of law enforcement agencies and volunteers.
Autumn's body was found just two hours after community members gathered just blocks away for a candlelight vigil.
Investigators have conducted 75 interviews and talked to every registered sex offender in the area.
They are also scouring surveillance videos from around town.
