It's an option that required the state to receive a waiver, because it didn't spend the required amount on public schools. Below are the various federal stimulus allocations to North Central Florida school districts.

- $9.13 million or $339 per student
Columbia County
- $3.29 million or $325 per student
Dixie County
- $665,000 or $323 per student
Gilchrist County
- $876,000 or $335 per student
Levy County
- $1.95 million or $328 per student
Marion County
- $13.84 million or $329 per student
Putnam County
- $3.67 million or $330 per student
