It's the second murder trial of a Gainesville man in two weeks. In March of 2008, police said Corey Pryor shot and killed one of his coworkers over money.
The state described Pryor as a cold-blooded killer, and they say they have all the evidence they need to prove it.
The state's witness described how Pryor was holding the gun and how moments later, he heard gun fire.
Police said on March 18, Pryor and Ingram arrived at Madison Pointe Apartment Complex, and the two men began to argue about money.
The witness, Eric Woliver, said he saw Pryor shoot Ingram. Pryor called Bruce Davis to help him dispose of the body.
It was found three days later in Levy County.
The defense is saying the witness's credibility should be questioned and that the witness only cared about what happened to the gun because he was a previous owner.
Bruce Davis was charged with being an accessory to murder and is currently serving five years in jail. He is expected to testify in this trial.
Pryor is being charged with one count of first-degree murder and five counts of tampering with evidence. The trial continues Thursday.
