One North Central Florida neighborhood is in an uproar over a sign that's posted along the street. They say it's a sign of hate.
And the people who posted the sign belong to a church.
TV20's Jamel Lanee tells us what the church is saying and what residents want done.
Residents in the area of the Mile Run neighborhood say it has always been a peaceful place until yesterday, when they started to take notice of a sign they say is hateful.

This is the same Religion that its followers flew Planes into the World Trade Centers,Pentagon and almost the White House.
The World is not peaceful and will not have True Peace until Jesus Christ comes back and Rules.
"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward in heaven will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men." ( Luke 6:35)
Please do not turn our peaceful Mile Run neighborhood into a place of hate. Remove that hateful sign and go somewhere else.
Peace!!!
A concerned Christian and resident of Mile Run.
If you actually think this sign is going to help spread Christianity and undermine Islam you have a very poor grasp on how to persuade people to your point of view.
It is, however, illustrative of the problems of insanity and suspension of reality that religions of all kinds cause in the world, whether Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or any other dogmatic, narrow, "let me tell you how it's going to be" religion.
Do you want to be associated with that church? If you are associated with ANY church...then you are. It's that simple.
As the pastor perfects his reputation as the neighborhood crackpot (and destroys his church's credibility), take this opportunity to reflect upon and appreciate ALL your neighbors, whatever their color or religion. Rise above!
I have been a member in Terry Jones church in Cologne Germany over 20 years and have been one of the elders until 2008. He and his wife are conducted by "narcissism".
We really was shocked to see the videos and the comments.
I think it is imperative, that the Jones couple do not only take a clear stand regarding the Islam, but also to take a clear stand to there criminal activities
in Germany. Ask Terry Jones about illegal money transfers, private payments from offerings and tithes, unpaid debts in Germany, financial and
spiritual abuse of church members and much more.
In Gainesville you have the same situations.
What about the academy of DWOC???
What about the illegal workers in DWOC???
In the past many people came from Germany to Gainesville with a religious visa and ended up working for his private business. (See ebay under: tsandcompany and artcollector-usa").
He confronts sin, but what about his and Sylvias sins.???
We can give you much more informations, if you want.
I myself have been several times in Gainesville and know how this people act. Why did he escape from Germany????
It was not the Islam or persecution, it ws fear.
Fear to take responsibility for the things that he has done here and in the church of Cologne. The founders wife "Dolores Northrup" also left the church some month ago, because she could not anymore agree with the
activities of Sylvia and Terry Jones.

Waffa Sultan videos!!
Terry Jones is the consummate con. That it is counter-productive to the cause of the Gospel in the process, he couldn't care less. Everybody, put a chain around your wallet.
They singled out Islam because Judaism, Hinduism and Buddism arent trying to destroy our society.
Seriously, if you post something like, you will get few thumbs up, but many thumbs down. Just read these comments and see how many are supporting you.
As they say "Here is your sign!!!"
John 15:18-21
18"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.'[b] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.

I'm a practicing believer, I trust there is a God, and Mohamed (Peace be upon him) was his messenger. I try to fast, pray, donate, and read the Quran to try to understand how to be a better person. When I raise my voice, I don't only have to defend myself from the radical preachers in Islam. I have to defend myself against any who attempt to persecute me because of my faith. I believe my faith is beautiful, and I believe in an Afterlife. To me, this life compared to the afterlife is a grain of sand compared to a desert.
Throughout my adolescence and in college, the Islam I have learned allows me free thought, and reasoning. It allows me tolerance. My obligations as a Muslim do not interfere with my obligations as an American citizen. I was taught in American public schools until I began college. I'm a Biology major, of course I know the theory of evolution. I know the ancient civilizations that existed before the Abrahamic faiths. Of my own free will, I choose to believe in Islam, I choose to cover my head. And I am lucky that I've grown up surrounded by a tolerant society that accepts me for what I am. As I accept them.
There are so many priests and preachers I know they don't know even Jesus and became a pastor and preacher and saying all these rubish that Allah and our God are the same. For those ideots I tell them please stop all these false preaching. Read the Bible and know who real Jesus is. Then go to the preaching field. Always remember Christianity is not a religion. Religion gives you law and bondage of eternal death but put faith in Jesus Christ gives you eternal life. Read John 3;16 on wards.

Do you know how all these muslim taleban practise thier gun shooting? Do you know what is thier target? You don't know. Thier target is the Cross. Because satan hates cross.
Therefore I appeal to all the readers before you see your name in this site must read Bible and know the truth. I believe and pray that Holy Spirit will help you to understand the Holy Bible.
Regards,
Yours in Christ,
Thomas H. Arthur.
Your comment gives me the impression that your mentality and that of the Taliban is not so different - you are both proponents of intolerance and brutally judge the people who you think are following Satan. As a Muslim, I don't think I have the authority to judge another human - I leave that to God. When I say I believe there is only one Creator, I mean it. The birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) was a miracle. His mother Mary was a virgin. But I refuse to believe that Jesus was not a man. He was a gift that God gave to humanity, but he was human. God is not human. Call him Yahweh, or Allah, or God, the Creator of the Universe is the Creator of the Universe. He is not human, not animal, is nothing worldly.
As it happens, I do read the Bible and also the Torah. Muslims believe in the Old and New Testaments as carrying God's message. But we believe the message was perfected in the Quran. When I open the Bible or the Torah, I look for the stories that are only hinted at in the Quran, to get a better idea of them. And we believe in many of the same prophets. Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Job, Jacob, John the Baptist, Noah, Zechariah, down the line to the last one, Mohammed (peace on them all).
Often people fear and hate what they don't understand. If you are prejudiced, narrow minded and hateful, you will never appreciate the good in people, and I'd be surprised if you get your salvation from God. It's those who practice tolerance, kindness, and goodwill towards others who have a better chance of being rewarded with Heaven and those are the ones who spread the right faith. I've known atheists who are more courteous than you, Thomas.
Best,
Sarah
We all have free right to speak. As you said that you read Koran, Hadith and Bible or Torah. After reaading your comment I got 00% doubt you don't know anything. So I won't mind what you say because nuts case people says so many things but they don't know what they are talking about and people don't listen to them because they out of their sense.
Now listen and comment;
In the view of the special significance of the Kpranic Christ, we must reconize the fact that 600 years after the supernatural birth of his only Son, God would not have sent the angel Gabriel to Mecca to tell Muhammed that he, the living God, has no Son! And the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ would never contradict and deny the historical facts of the crucifixion since the purpose of his Son's birth was to die on the cross to take away the sins of the world. If Islam claims that Muhammed received real inspiration, then it was another spirit, a false spirit and not the Holy Spirit who inspired Muhammed. God does not lie.
So it is true the spirit who calls himself Allah and claims to have inspired Muhammed cannot be the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Instead he is a spirit full of lies, who took upon himself the old Arabic name of God, Allah, wearing it over his face like mask and claimed to be God, although he is not God, who rules with great power in a religious disguise to this very day. (John 8;30-48). Don't forget the Koran says don't make friendship with Christians or Jews because we don't believe Muhammad and his Allah and that is why Muhammad says in the Koran to kill non-believers. Can you deny it?
It proves your Allah and my God is not same. Your prophets and our prophets are not same. Your Isaah and my Jesus is not same. Always remember God never lies.
What I suggest you must visit my website; www.easywaytoheaven.co.uk
or www.faithfreedom.org You will get your all answer.
May God light His candle in your innocent heart.
Yours in Christ,
Thomas H. Arthur.
I do deny that the Quran says to kill non-believers - says no such thing. It is said to defend yourself from any who attack (no need to turn the other cheek). The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution also gives me the right to protect home and family from any who may try to persecute me.
There is one verse warning against friendship with Jews and Christians. I grew up with a lot of Jews and Christians (I'm a New Yorker) so this verse troubled me until I considered why would religious scripture tell me to choose friends from people preaching against the faith? Doesn't warn me against blacks, whites, asians, etc It is specifically the religious affiliation. Friends are people you trust and rely on, and God tells me in that verse that I can't trust and rely on a Jew or a Christian (who doesn't believe it) to help me spread His message. And spreading the message is the most important duty for a follower of a religion.
Interestingly, marriage is not forbidden (I have a catholic aunt, sikh cousin) There's historically a double standard though. Based on the patriarchal system, the religion of the father is given to the kids, so only men tend to marry out. Lately people are often less fundamental/religious and i have girl cousins married to christian guys. In every religion, there are those who follow rigidly, those who are moderate, and the very liberal. I consider myself moderate.
The one point where we disagree most strongly with each other, we will continue to disagree, Mr. Arthur. I refuse to allow any man divinity. You may consider the message bearers (peace be upon them) as varying from religion to religion. Go ahead, you have a right to your opinions. I think its ridiculous to say the men whose preaching has been clearly recorded (Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Noah, etc) are different from religion to religion. I don't think one Moses parted the ocean according to Jews, another Moses parted it for Christians, and a third did it for Muslims. I think it was the same guy, just like its the same Creator we worship. But Islam doesn't tell me to impose my view on you, I'm commanded to convey the message to you. It's up to you to see the logic in it. If you think it was three different Moses, and three different deities, then that's what you think. I did my duty by telling you otherwise. My religion is between myself and my God.
It's nice to see an improvement in your courtesy, Mr. Arthur. Quite right, if we cannot see the good in people whose beliefs vary from ours, we will cause misery to ourselves and never get through to anyone whose faith differs. Thanks for the prayer, I also hope God lights my heart and keeps my path straight.
Cheers,
Sarah
In Islam we were taught not to hate other religions and their followers Our prophet Mohamed (PBUH) had a Jewish neighborhood who used to buy from him some stuff. Also the prophet Mohamed (PBUH) ordered not to kill any one except the one who attacks. On the contrary we see the church ordering the people to put sign of hate !!!
During the World War 2 my home town of Elwood Indiana had a Concentration Camp where Japanese and German immigrants were confined to the Wars end. WE won that War, (imagine that !)
But its a good idea, Wolfeman. It's about time we created some concentration camps to throw racist prejudiced haters like you behind iron.
Cheers,
Sarah
Islam is a religion of terrorism and Mohammad was the founder of this terrorism. Their aim to destroy modern civilization to make their Allah happy and to establish Islamic nation. When ever we see the news papers and TV news, these are the truth comes up.
Dear fellow Christians don't be fool by this Allah. Mohammad was anti-Christ. Don't believe this people. Look what was going to happen on 26thg. December, 2009. That was wake up call. Becarefull never and ever trust these people.
The line you take out of context about wherever you find them, kill them, refers to traitors and enemies who are a threat to your safety. Self defense is permitted both in Islam and in the US Constitution. Neither Jesus nor Mohamed (peace be upon them) taught hate. They both preached charity and love, not just for your own kind, but for those who aren't. Neither man hated the people who oppressed him. To the end of his life, each preached kindness and compassion. That's recorded in history. Read it, instead of spewing hate out of ignorance and as a result of your own prejudices.
The attack that almost occurred on Dec 25, 2009 had its roots in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, and the continued civilian casualties in that region resulting from US drone attacks. Radicals use those deaths to brainwash young muslim men into thinking Americans are demons terrorizing helpless people. We sent troops overseas to avenge an attack on American soil. American troops don't just kill militants, they also kill their families. Women and children. We do it that way to protect the lives of our soldiers but civilians of those countries see us as the killers. War isnt pretty.
Thanks God that in U.K. they banned this Islamic Party. Praise to France those who banned Hizad (Scarf). I believe U.S Government will take serious action against these people.
My point if you want muslim country why don't you go to some part of middle-east and live their as a wife. Then you will see what Islam is. Your husband got right to bit you. Your husband got right to get four wife's. Unfortunately you don't have right to get four husbands. Otherwise you will be called prostitute. Your right won't count in the court. You won't be allow to work among the men. You should thank your Allah that you are in U.S.A one of the most civilized and rich country in the world. Go some part of the Muslim country then you will be shame yourself how salavery life your women are living in the Muslim soicety. I saw these with my own eyes because I am from Muslim country. In Islam women are like a slave and child production field. You are in U.S. don't think Islam culture are same in Saudi Arabia.
You don't have any right to give your own witness in the court under Shariah Law. I am NOT changing the Koran but explaining what is written in Koran.
Therefore it is my request to all the non Muslims please beware of the Muslim.
Thanks and God bless you all.
Therefore becarefull of Muslims.
Don't mix up and don't make up story. Because in the name of jehad Muslim terrorists are killing innocent people. This is not selfdefense. We are peace lover nation and wants every body to stay in peace. But this terrorist groups in the name of Islam they are killing us. We have to stop this.
I've spent my entire life in the US and I'm not afraid to speak my mind. My father and brother are devout Muslims who have never abused me or restricted my freedom. They do not beat me or my mother and they do not practice polygamy. There is a historical reason why the Prophet (pbuh) had multiple wives; it was to protect them because so many men had been killed in wars. There are still some Muslims (and Christian Mormons in western US) who practice polygamy but they are minorities.
Any man who abuses women, and they exist in every culture, is scum and should be punished. There is no verse in the Quran that condones abuse of women. The verse you may be trying to give a false interpretation for is
Quran 4.34: "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their, beds (and last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance): for Allah is Most High, Great (above you all)."
According to this verse, first the request is verbal, then a refusal to sleep together, and lastly a light spanking. If the husband is an abusive jerk (most Muslim men don't drink but can still be abusive jerks), his wife has the right to divorce him in Islam.
I've never lived in a muslim majority country but I practice Islam. Don't confuse my religion with the cultural norms of those countries. My nationality is American and my religion is Islam. Italian Christians and American Christians do not share practices or opinions. I will probably be able to talk more easily with an American Jew than a Saudi Muslim. I grew up with american jews (we have a lot in NY). But I don't speak Arabic and I've never been to the mideast, so I probably won't know how to talk to people there. Their cultural norms might be different. I've talked to international people and they say we are so friendly and open with strangers, we appear odd and nosy to them. Someone actually said to me once, "why don't you americans mind your own business?" I replied, "if you did a good job with your business, we wouldn't have to mind it. You're mad at us when we don't interfere and mad at us when we do."
Lately though, I think they'd be happier if we didn't do much interfering. The cost of the wars is too much at home and we're not winning overseas. Every time the drones kill another terrorist and his family, their sons, brothers, cousins, etc take up arms, making it a bigger mess. My cousin Omar is in the US army. He's muslim but his wife Katie is christian, from Alabama. They have a 10 month old daughter, Jasmine. She deserves to grow up with her dad around.
After you read the holy book, discuss it with people who practice the faith instead of apostates and haters. Find out what real Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, etc believe instead of what people claim they believe. There are 42,000+ masjids in the US and you can find the one nearest to you at www.islamicfinder.org. Islam isn't trying to take over the world. It is the fastest growing religion because people either choose to convert to it or make a lot of babies.
Terrorists are a small but harmful minority and they kill mainstream muslims as easily as they kill mainstream non-muslims. So far, the Afghanistan war has cost at least 10,000 civilian deaths, over three times the amount of innocent people who were killed in the US. Is it okay if a few thousand innocents die so we can liberate the rest from the terrorists? That was the general idea, but it's not working well overseas. The terrorists are multiplying exponentially. So now we're spending trillions of dollars so our soldiers can train the locals to keep law and order. Let's hope they're done in two years and return home.
Listen terrorist have no religion aqnd we innocent people want them to be hang publicly.
You are wrong Islam is NOT growing religion but failing now. Every year 16000 people in Africa coming under the cross. It broadcasted in AlJezeera TV recently.
Thank you.
There
I won't blow myself up in a public place and kill people who aren't attacking me. That's fanaticism.
I will support anyone who wishes to promote peace and tolerance between people who practice different religions. As a muslim who devoutly believes in her faith, I respect other people who have faith. I do not respect instigators and people who wish to spread hate.
Cheers,
Sarah
