Six educators from China's "Changzhou No.2 Middle School" spent the day touring Oak Hall School in Alachua County.

It's the second step of a partnership between the schools. In 2007, Oak Hall sent a group of teachers to Changzhou. Students and teachers discussed their research and curriculum with the guests during classroom visits.

Oak Hall officials said plans for the next visit will hopefully involve sending a group of students to China.

"There is nothing like face-to-face exchanges, particularly in-depth exchanges that will help prepare the students to deal with the global world," said Oak Hall School headmaster Richard Gehman.
