Several doctors from The Orthopaedic Institute in Gaiensville are on the ground in Haiti, providing medical care and relief to residents in need.
Today, the group sent the first pictures back from when they arrived in the country.
The doctors joined the relief efforts by providing medical support to earthquake victims in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince.
"The ability to use our surgical skills to help relieve the suffering of the injured is a great privilege and this is an excellent opportunity to give back to those in dire need," said Dr. Maxey.
They plan to be in the country for 7 to 10 days.
The group has started a Twitter page and they are posting updates throughout the day.
You can follow them at Twitter.com/TOIHealth
For every twitter follower they get, The Orthopaedic Institute will make a financial donation to the American Red Cross.
You can also find the group on Facebook.
