Its a much warmer night indoors for a developmentally disabled man who had been missing since Tuesday.
His family says it's a blessing he was found alive late this afternoon.
Vernon Hunter Jr. was last seen yesterday leaving Loften High School in Gainesville... and was found in a park near his home yesterday evening around 5-30..
Almost 40 GPD officers combed neighborhoods in the Eastside of Gainesville... hoping to spot him.
Hunter was found by a detective in Boulware Springs Park just a few blocks from his house. he indicated he'd been in the park almost the entire time.
Officials say after being missing for nearly 30 hours... Vernon Hunter is a little dehydrated but otherwise, he's doing just fine.
