It's never to late to donate. That's the message from one area church who is shipping supplies to Haiti.
Members of the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Gainesville have collected items for several weeks.
Director of Outreatch Kenneth Graham said their truckload includes over 3,000 bottles of water, 150 pounds of food, about 4,000 pounds of clothing and 1,500 pounds of medical supplies.
"We wanna really get the medical supplies there first because we want to make sure that there's no more amputations, no more deaths due to infections setting in so we really want to get these medical supplies there as soon as possible," Graham said.
The church is collecting more food and clothing.
Anyone looking to drop off items can do so Monday through Thursday from 3-7 pm and on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
