An early morning gas leak left some people out in the rain and cold at the University of Florida.
Construction crews working near the Corry Village housing complex hit a gas line. Corry Village serves as graduate and family housing.
UF police blocked traffic around the area as crews worked to fix the problem.
"The leak wasn't of any size where we had to evacuate the entire complex, but we did have two buildings evacuated and have everyone else sheltered in place in the other buildings in Corry Village," UF Police Captain Jeff Holcomb said.
After about an hour, workers from GRU were able to turn off the gas line and residents were allowed to go home.
