I would love to bring my lab-pit out to see if they get along. She would hit the dog lotto we love our dogs and Obama needs a play mate. Does she like cats, we have two. lets talk is possible, my girlfriend is out of town right now I would need to chat with her first but she loves dogs also.
By the way Obama is our lab-pit mix. hehehe he's a handful but a dream at the same time. So funny!

Isn't this little dog a pit mix? I feel very sorry for any animal mistreated......but these bredds are so dangerous! How many times have these pets bitten, maimed or killed their owners? It's very scary to me. Pay attention people! Don't UF vets read the news? Please, at least, don't place this dog with any family with children. We have a dog our son rescued and they are very sweet and very grateful pets. It's the pit bull thing that is upsetting to me. I just had to be a voice of reason. Facts are facts.

First of all, the UF vet clinic knows more about dog breeds than any news source. MOST stories reported of pit attacks are mis-identification and usually not pits at all. They have a bad rep because of their past and how people use to raise them as fighting dogs because of their strength. Don't believe everything you hear on the news. After a long process, Holly gets to come home with me tomorrow and I couldn't be luckier - she is the sweetest thing I've ever met.

Palmer, stop spreading opinions as fact. Pitbulls aren't a vicious breed, they're a commonly abused breed. So, they get labeled as dangerous.

The news isn't a substitute for real knowledge. Educate yourself.
