         genesis was built around drawling “good ole boys”

         racing hopped-up cars that had been designed to

         run booze in the days of big moonshine…rising to

         NASCAR’s 2012 status as a worldly operation with

         major tracks in 11 non-Dixie states across

         America,  plus a cast of star drivers with a majority of

         big names NOT born in the South…and a Daytona 

         500 field that includes even stars from Columbia

         and Tasmania.
