They went to Kentucky—Rupp Arena—one of the GREAT theaters in college basketball… the Gators seemed  to have “stage fright”… 

Florida shot 3-pointers as though   “blindfolded”… a  “renowned” Gator defensive “press” did NOT nag  the No. 1 Wildcats….

Kentucky won by 20—it seemed “more lopsided”… Still--Florida has a 19-and-5 record… but the Gators must now RE-prove themselves as  a “national” power… 

Florida has 7 games to go—including “ROAD TOUGHIES” at Alabama…Arkansas…and Vanderbilt…

IF the Gators do not win 4 or 5 more--- their “seeding” in the NCAA Tournament will suffer … 

I “expect” them to deliver-- to NOT repeat their “stinker”  at Kentucky… Florida will get another shot at UK—March 4  in the O-Dome… 

BUT--if there is to be  “true resurgence”—it must begin tomorrow… Against “mediocre” Tennessee… 

The 12-and-12 Vols who embarrassed  the Gators 67-56 in Knoxville … Saturday is a MUST—creating a “positive launch” for the Gators’ 23-day stretch run—BEFORE they get another chance—at HOME--against mighty Kentucky…
